The Titan TCPI-MSW13001-20 switch is equipped with 12 x 10G SFP+ open slots, which serve as uplink ports. This 10G uplink design provides an excellent solution for upgrading your network from 1G to 10G. With 10G speeds, this switch offers high flexibility and bandwidth for connecting to other 10G switches, servers, workstations, and other devices that support 10G interfaces. Additionally, the 10G ports can be aggregated into a trunk group to further increase bandwidth.
Comprehensive Layer 2+ Management Functions
The Titan TCPI-MSW13001-20 switch features full Layer 2+ management capabilities. The software suite includes support for up to 4,000 802.1Q VLANs and advanced VLAN functions such as protocol VLAN, private VLAN, and MVR. It also supports eight physical Quality of Service (QoS) queues, IPv4/IPv6 multicast filtering, Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol (RSTP) to prevent network loops, Multiple Spanning Tree Protocol (MSTP) for VLAN and spanning tree integration, LACP, LLDP, sFlow, port mirroring, cable diagnostics, and advanced network security features. The switch provides Console-CLI for out-of-band management, as well as SNMP and a web GUI for in-band management.
Advanced Security Features
The Titan TCPI-MSW13001-20 switch supports advanced security features. Management is secured via HTTPS and SSH, and login credentials and configuration files are protected. Port binding allows specific MAC addresses to be tied to ports, ensuring that only authorized MAC addresses can access the network. The 802.1X port-based access control requires authentication for users attempting to access the network. AAA (Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting) is supported through RADIUS and TACACS+ servers. The Layer 2+ Access Control List (ACL) enables users to define access permissions based on IP address, MAC address, port number, and other criteria.
