The VERSAstream VS-M32QD QSFP-DD is a NextGen High-Density network packet broker: optimized for high-performance data centers. Housed in a 1RU form factor, it provides linerate L2 and L3 aggregation and replication with 32 x QSFP-DD ports each supporting 32 x 400G or 64 x 40G/200G or 128 10G/25G/50G/100G (using breakout cables).
Data filtering
Aggregation carries the risk of oversubscription and packet loss. Hardware-based Layer 2 to Layer 4 filtering allows users to analyze only specific traffic of interest. Hardware based line rate filtering can prevent port over-subscription. Filters are based on - Ipv4 Src/Dst address; MAC address; protocol, port and Ethernet type (e.g. MPLS, VLAN, IPv6 Src/Dst address). Increased productivity with drag and drop filter editor.
Aggregation and replication
Any-to-any functionality allows aggregation to single tools and replication to multiple tools. Any port can be used as input or output.
Additional features of the VS-M32QD QSFP-DD Packet Broker
10G, 25G, 40G, 50G, 100G, and 400G data rates are all supported in a 1RU platform. The VS-M32QD also enables GRE tunneling/termination and provides MPLS stripping capability for (up to 7 labels). Nanosecond time stamping optimizes 5G network monitoring. Unified management is provided that includes WEB UI, CLI and SNMP V3. Also provides support for PAM or NRZ for 400G.
